So, I basically suck. On the homepage, it says I haven't posted in 38 weeks. That's a really long time.
Here's an update on my life and times:

School:
I'm still toughing it out. I only have 12 more actual school days until I'm free and clear. (Thank God!) Um...I'm in the National Honor Society this year, I still hate math in general with a fiery passion...nothing really new.

Home:
Everything's peachy, really. I live on the Kitsap peninsula now. My brother joined the Marines last September, and he leaves for boot camp in San Diego on June 2nd (my sixteenth birthday). I'm really sad and worried, of course, but he's in Nuclear and Biological Weapons and Warfare, so he's a smart Marine- my mom would have murdered him if he joined Basic Infantry. I'm really proud of him! Because he's leaving, and I'm not going to be in the house much longer, my parents want to move into a smaller house or even a condo. That's fine with me, because, frankly, I'm lazy, and my current room is way too far from the fridge. *grins sheepishly*

Wow. Either my life is boring or I have serious summarizing skills.

Yes, although not too well. It's quite entertaining, I'm told.

um, dirty. and either someone that I can talk to, like Casandra, or someone hot. Like Scott Michael Foster or Milo Ventimiglia. :D

I'm a little bit mad at them after that row with the mushrooms last week, but I do have a soft spot for them....haha. I love them.

umm, 6. I think. I can't see through the floor (and ceiling) to count.

well, there was Baby, Sporty, Scary, Posh....wasn't there a fifth one? I'm almost positive......
Well, I always liked Scary's outfits.

12:51 a.m. (yes, I'm a slight insomniac.)

12) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator?
Sit. make out with any hot guy there to pass the time..... not really, just kidding. I'd probably read, because I always have a book with me. Or call someone to talk.

Trident White Spearmint

14) T or F: All is fair in love and war?
I'd say false. Nothing is fair.

15) Do you have a crush on anyone?
Celeb crushes, definitely. I do have a crush on someone in RL, too. Two guys, actually.

16) Do you use words that you don't know the meaning to?
Nope. Because the one time you do, someone asks you what it means. Like the toast always lands butter side down? It just happens that way. But I do make up words, all the time.

17) Do you like to sleep?
Yes, although it currently eludes me.

18) Do you know which US states don't use Daylight Savings?
Nope. Well, not until trilliane answered this question. Go Hawaii. Such rebels.

Yes. My mom is a Bonnie Tyler fan. Did you see what the LJ cut thingie was?

20) Do you want a bright yellow '06 mustang?
If I get a Mustang, it'll be a '67. That was the best year, baby.

21) Are you ever mistaken for someone else?
Only on the phone. I'm my mom, my nonna, my aunt, various cousins. Or someone will be calling me at like a family function and they'll say "Mary Lou, Jeanne, Francis, Anna, Jaedyn, Beth, Angie, Rebecca....whoever you are! Oh, Mariah!" It really makes me feel loved, lol.

24) Would you rather swim in the ocean or a lake?
Either one. Lake if I'm not feeling like showering right after I swim, because after the ocean my hair gets really gross and the saltwater dries out my skin. Evil. :D

25) Do you wear a lot of black?
Not a whole lot. If I do wear black, it's my flats or a tank top. Possibly pants. Not a whole outfit though.

26) Describe your hair?
Collar-bone length, light brown-red with natural blond-ish highlights. (odd? I think so) Layered, bangs that go to, oh, about the bottom of my eye-socket. I need them trimmed before school starts....

28) Are you an adult?
Unfortunately, no. But I tend to act like one, sometimes. :D

29) Who is/are your best friend(s):
Casandra, my mom. Katie will always be one of my best friends, because she was my first real best friend. I mean, we were like sisters for 6 years. Hannah is my best Cali bud, and Ariel my bestie in Idaho.

30) Do you have a tan?
Gravy, no. I'm whiter than white, or I'm as red as a lobster. No joke.

31) Are you a television addict?
As much as I am a chocoholic. So, yes.

32) Do you enjoy spending time with your mom?
Yes! My mom is the best. She's my mom! (no, duh. if you met her, you'd understand)

33) are you a sugar freak?
Not much of one, no. I have my moments, however- the playoff debacle of '05, the great sugar junkie title of January '07..... hahaha.

34) What is your favorite candy?
I like chocolate better, but Junior Mints, Reese's in any form..... yum-o.

Only a little, haha. I bet I confuzzled you. Anywho, I'm a Gemini.

36) Where do you wish you were right now?
Sleeping. Or with friends.

38) What brand of shirt are you wearing?
a blue and white striped Vans tank top. I just bought it.

39) What are you fantasizing about?
Sleeping. It being June 30th, not August 30th. :-(

40) What are your plans for the weekend?
Unpack my room fully, get set up for school on Wednesday. Eat a lot. :D Just your basic boring Labor Day weekend. We were going to go to the beach house, but my dad kind of has to be at the dealership for the Labor Day Sale.

So, while reading through old entries in my infinite school's-almost-here-why-aren't-you-doing-anything-fun boredom, I realized I never did this meme from trilliane . And I totally am doing it. (haha, Lorelai voice in my head saying 'DIRTY')

                        5. Orlando Bloom- Okay, so it's a bit silly. But at the end of PotC 3 where he has that bandanna thing on? And his shirt is open and his chest is......*stops before the thoughts get dirty(er)* Hehe.


                            4. Hugh Laurie- Those eyes are the most piercing shade of blue (second only to T.J. Thyne) And he's British, which expands his hotness by about a billion. (I'm a sucker for accents.) House is a great show, and he is just delicious. Even though he's older than my father and married. Not that I blame his wife, of course, for snatching him up when she did.

                    3. Adam Brody- The whole scruffy, geeky hotness is totally, well, hot. *drools* He was gorgeous on Gilmore Girls, and In the Land of Women made him all the more gorgeous to me. :D

                     2. Scott Michael Foster- Greek is by far my favorite summer T.V. show ever. And it's just my luck that they have the amazingly gorgeous S.M.F. as the hilarious Cappie. Those eyes are just so deep- they go on forever. And his strategic stubble? Yum. Plus, I really just want to kiss that freckle-mole thing on his neck. And, you know, just about everything else....*wink*



                 1. Milo Ventimiglia- Those eyes. That body. That hair. That....everything!! He's just HOT and amazingly sweet in interviews and such. Plus, my friend met him in L.A. and said he was really nice, signing autographs and taking pictures with everyone that asked. I am soooo insanely jealous that she met him. I first began my love affair in Gilmore Girls, followed it through to Heroes. Seriously, if the show sucked (which it doesn't, in my opinion) I would still watch it because of how hot he his. Just....*swoon*. It's really too bad he's close to twice my age. Not that it really matters to me...... :D

In my infinite boredom, I decided I would take a bunch of quizzes. Because I'm cool like that. And I can't sleep. However the el to the jay decided to hate me, so I guess you'll just never know what I did and what my results were. Oh, well. It's not like it's a big deal anywho. Or any sort of deal at all, you know. And now I'm just rambling on about absolutely nothing.

Insomnia is fun sometimes!! :D

So, I think I'm going to goof off a bit more and then go to bed. I don't have to get up early tomorrow so I'm not really worried about sleeping in too late. Finally.

So, I'm currently trying to convince my mother to let me get my nose pierced. I have to say, so far it's looking good. My dad thinks it's fine, as long as I pay for it myself and tell my brother it hurt like hell so that he doesn't want it done. And, of course, promise to sing the national anthem at one of his softball games. Dork.

My mother, however, is morally opposed to most bodily piercings. And tattoos. That whole, 'honor the body God gave you' thing. Which I totally understand, and for that reason I'm not getting a tattoo. But I can always take out a piercing. And any of the jobs I might want to apply for do not require clean-cut people. I mean, wouldn't it be awesome to have a psychologist who had a nose piercing? Lol.

And my aunt is currently made of win, because she said that as soon as her radiation treatment was done, she'd go with me and get it done, too. Because I'm 15, I'd need an adult of close relation to give permission, anyway, and the shop we want to go to said that legally, that was fine. *does a Weiss happy dance* My mom totally respects my aunt's opinion, too. That whole older sister card, you know.

So, I'm going to go research piercings and aftercare, as well as the shop on the Better Business Bureau, to show my mom how mature and responsible I am.

So, a sort of a brain-cleaning post today. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to do a real post in a while, but it's just been a sort of lazy Sunday today. I know I should probably put all this under a cut, but as aforementioned, it's been a lazy day. :-)

Home- Well, I'm sort of settled into our new house now. We moved from the greater Seattle area to the Bremerton area, and it's just sort of been crazy. We had to move my dad's old apartment storage thing, our storage unit, and the house so we had a lot to do. And we're still not done- a lot of mine and my brother's stuff is still at the house and it will be a while before we have the time to move it all. On the plus side, I've been going through all of my stuff that's been in storage for almost 3 years, so I've been re-discovering all these things that I forgot I had in the first place. :D

School- Yes, it's summer, but with the move comes a change in schools. My problem is that I've always wanted to got to Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, which is where my mom, aunt, and many family friends graduated from. However, their 10, 11, and 12th grades are already completely full, which means that I won't get in this fall, and I might not even get in for the spring semester. And I've gone to so many different schools that I really don't want to go to another school for just one semester and switch again. So, I'll probably be attending King's West, which is a private school in the area. Oh, well.

       Speaking of things that were in storage, I found this handwriting personality analysis thing that we do at the Puyallup fair every year in a box. Here's what it said about me, and trust me, it's all pretty much spot on:

1* What was the first album you ever bought?
Mariah Carey's Butterfly album, along with the first Britney Spears c.d. Yes, I am ashamed about the second one. But only a little. :D

2* Can you see yourself in five years time, if so, what are you like?
I'm not sure if I can see myself. I will be 20, so hopefully in college. I would like to be less naive, more mature about relationships, and have grown in my faith.

3* Your style fashion-wise, what's it like?
Oh, gosh. I have no idea, really. Preppy, but a little edgy. I mostly shop at American Eagle, Old Navy, Hollister, and Aeropostale. But if I like something, I'll wear it even if it's not the 'cool' thing to wear. One of my favorite outfits is a pair of skinny jeans in, with a black tee that has this awesome purple swirly graphic on it with my Vans.

4* Do you have a favourite icon, if so, what is it and why?
Hmm.....out of the ones that I've made, my favorite is the one I have right now. I love Alexis Bledel, and she's just so pretty that I love to icon her. It's simple....and it was one of the first that I made, and I'm really proud of it. :D

5* What radio station do you listen to?
Well, I don't really listen to the radio very much, but if I do it's either 92.5, which is mostly 80's, 90's, and hits, or 106.1 which is all current hits.

So, it's been awhile. No, I didn't totally disappear of the face of the earth; I just discovered myspace. Well, re-discovered, with help of my noodle, Casandra. Anywho, that's where I've been for the past 3 weeks or so.

Summer has been pretty good so far. Nothing terribly exciting has happened, unfortunately. My brother will be gone until August 7 visiting family in Virginia, and because Casandra has summer school until 3 during the week until the 9th of August, I basically have no life Monday-Friday. (casandra is my bffl, and pretty much everyone else is at camp or on vacation) Hello, seasons 3-9 of X-Files. :-D

So I had my first ever filling today after school, and let me tell you: the drilling thing isn't as bad as not being able to swallow totally for 15 minutes. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be....well, except for the fact that it takes a lot to get me numb, and I had to have 3 1/2 shots of anesthetic. And I STILL WASN"T COMPLETELY NUMB. And apparently I have a fast metabolism, because the dentist said it would normally take about 2 hours for the anesthetic to start wearing off, but it's been about 30 minutes and I almost have full feeling. Everything I say sounds really funny, though. :-)

It's been a while since I last posted....possibly the first time since forever decided to end. (and that really made no sense, but I'm so sleep-deprived that I really don't care at the moment. I'm so happy I'm at Starbucks right now!) Starbucks....lol. Reminds me of The X-Files now!

I just had a great day today. My friends Brett and Irving were both being hilariously hilarious in choir and at lunch, which really made my Monday. (OMG, Brooklyn! Just, no, I donneven wanna hear it. *scoffs*) lolololololololololololol. (or: No, Mommy, No!! *runs screaming*)

You know what really pisses me off?

When you put a 5 dollar bill in a vending machine, and your 4 dollars worth of change comes out in dollar coins, but NONE OF THE MACHINES TAKE DOLLAR COINS.

Well, I finally got my stupid Photoshop program working, so I figured I'd post what few icons I've made so far, along with the one wallpaper I can actually stand to look at.

22 icons- (2 Adam Brody, 10 Alexis Bledel, 4 Milo Ventimiglia, 2 BONES cast, 2 Elizabethtown, 2 Keira Knightley)
1 wallpaper- (Adam Brody- 1024x768. 800x600 available upon request)

Some of these were made using Photoshop CS2, and some using Elements 5. Elements 5 is the only one working on my computer currently, so I'm dying without the amazingness of selective coloring. Ack.

It really does not feel like the weekend. I feel like I should be going to school tomorrow, not doing....whatever it is I'm doing tomorrow. Weird.

On the other hand, I'm happy that I don't have to go to school tomorrow. And that I'm grounded, so that I can't talk to anyone from school over the weekend. Because I'm really trying to avoid certain people. (okay, a certain person.)

Alright, I'm avoiding a GUY. Are you happy?

The X-Files is making me paranoid.

I was watching Ice, and being amazed by the fantastic chemistry between Gillian and David, when it hit me: if all those hormone-feeding. meteor-riding organisms are frozen in the ice caps, wouldn't they be released into the water with all the polar ice melting going on? And then people will become insanely aggressive and kill each other. (Not like they aren't doing that already, but you know what I mean.)

On another note, I was walking around our neighborhood last night with my brother and his friend, just talking and being obnoxious teenagers, which was really fun. I think I spent more time with my brother in the past 4 days then I have in the past month, which is sort of sad. But I think he's worried that I'm 'stealing' his friends. I really can't help it if they all find me amazing, can I?

Dear Students of MTHS,

I'm really getting tired of all of your unnecessary drama. Really, people, grow the fuck up. You're (semi-)intelligent high school students, not naive 12-year-olds. You don't need to spend your lunch time gossiping about the girl in your 4th period world eco class that got pregnant and is dropping out, or who hooked up over the weekend and what drugs they were doing at the time. It's not nice, or productive, and it sure as hell isn't doing anything to better the world. If you're going to be talking about anything, make sure you have your facts straight. Especially about something as tragic and recent as the Virgina Tech. shootings, because you really offend people otherwise. So, please, be informed. I'm sure others would appreciate that a lot more than you think.

Yesterday, I got to see my 3-week-old nephew for the first time. And I am in love. I swear, he's gorgeous. Absolutely precious. But I'm a bit biased. :-)
I made sure to tell him that I was going to spoil him rotten, which is my privilege as a first-time auntie.

Click here to see pictures of him from the hospital. (Yes, he's in the hospital still, but he's going home on Monday. He had a slight breathing problem, as well as something with his kidneys, and those things had to be monitored. But he's absolutely fine now, thank God.)

I should probably go do my homework. Ack.

So, I just realized that I haven't posted in a while, so here goes. Nothing terribly interesting has happened lately. Oh, so boring am I. (and how much sense that made. wow.)

I had an in-class essay in my ap english class today, which went surprisingly well. Unlike the bio review game during 7th period. *studies like crazy for test on Monday*
You know, it doesn't feel like the weekend to me. Feels like...Wednesday. Interesting. Or not.

I spent the day with my family. We went to Experience Music Project downtown, which was actually pretty cool. My brother and I had tons of fun in the Sound Lab being goofy, and my mom and I sang I Can't Make You Love Me without sounding terribly horrible. One of the employees asked if I would sing it by myself for her, because she apparently hangs out there all day recruiting kids for the EMP Choir. (Which, ironically, I auditioned for almost 2 years ago)

After EMP, we went to the Mariner's game. (Which is our baseball team, Amanda, dear. *wink*) We left at the bottom of the sixth, though, because we were getting our asses kicked by Oakland. (9-0 was the final score, I believe.) But I had a huge craving for nachos, so we stopped at Red Robin on the way back. I think I ate more food today then I have all week!!

At the game, we ran into one of my classmates from middle school, recently back from living in Missouri. It was nice to see him and his brother (who was good friends with my brother), but sort of awkward because he used to have this gigantic crush on me, but I didn't like him like that, and my best friend had a crush on him. (Run-on sentence, much?)

Anyway, that was my eventful day. Tomorrow, I get to hang out with my parents (*jumps for joy*) while my brother ditches me to go see a movie with his girlfriend.
Ugh. I'm so tired........and it's only 11!

So, went bowling with the fam this afternoon. I actually got 2 strikes this time, so I'm feeling a little proud of myself.
(And yes, I know that's not especially fantastic. But I suck at bowling. Lol.)

Today, I accomplished absolutely nothing. I re-watched my favorite s1 and s2 Gilmore Girls episodes, and got started on s1 of BONES. The Two Bodies in the Lab ep with commentary by David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel still makes me fall over laughing, even though I've watched it a billion and a half times. Gravy, I love those two.

And my mom and I are going to go get ice cream from DQ and have a Brat Pack movie marathon.

I love spring break!!!!!!

You wanna know what really bothers me about movies set in the Pacific N.W.?

STADIUM HIGH SCHOOL IS NOT IN SEATTLE. KISS MY TACOMA-BORN ASS.

Alright, I feel better now. Seriously, though, filming in Tacoma (especially at Stadium), and then pasting a few Seattle skyline scenes in here and there is, just, sucky. (whoa with the lack of articulated speech) Not to mention all of the tourists you'll confuse by telling them to see the school from 10 Things I Hate About You, they'll have to drive 30(ish) miles through ~~usually~~ always intense traffic TO ANOTHER COUNTY, CITY, AREA CODE, and ZIP CODE. (I've had to break the news to people before)

*takes deep breath*

On the other hand, I love 10 Things I Hate About You. Especially at midnight. While accompanied by a huge bowl of ice cream.
